It's perfect for me as it has become really hard for me to function following a deadlift and squat day. The bar was invented by powerlifter Al Gerard, who was trying to find a way to train around a recurring lower back injury. It is supposed to be easier on the spine and feels more powerful.
My first workout with it felt great, we will see how the rest go. No lower back pain so far.
