May 2019 Workout: Cardio Acceleration




This month I am going to use Cardio Acceleration for my monthly workout. This means I will do a strength exercise with a 30 to 60 second burst instead of rest between sets. 

Example:
Bench Press 
60 seconds of jumping jacks.

Oct 31, 2018 - Cardioacceleration refers to doing intervals of cardio (usually 30-60 seconds) in between sets of resistance exercise. So for example, on chest day you would do one set of the bench press. Then instead of sitting on your butt for a full 2-3 minutes doing nothing, you perform 30-60 seconds of cardio.

My January 2017 Workout Plan

Having trouble with my left knee so will be doing occlusion training on leg exercises until healed.

Training Rules:

Hypertrophy
        Load (% of 1 Rep Max – 1RM) 50-80%
        Reps 6-12
        Sets 3-10
        Rest between sets 1 – 3 minutes

Power
        Load (% of 1 Rep Max – 1RM) 40-60%
        Reps 1-5
        Sets 3-5
        Rest between sets 2 – 6 minutes

Strength
        Load (% of 1 Rep Max – 1RM) 80-90%
        Reps 1-5
        Sets 4-7
        Rest between sets 3 – 6 minutes

Endurance
        Load (% of 1 Rep Max – 1RM) 30-50%
        Reps 20-50
        Sets 2-4

        Rest between sets 1 – 2 minutes

June Workout Plan - Simplicity





Day 1
Deadlift
Squat-Press

Day 2
Bench Press
Bent-Over Row
Overhead Press

Day 3
Arms

Day 4
Deadlift
Squat-Press

Day 5
Bench Press
Bent-Over Row
Overhead Press

Some form of cardio daily. Throwing in whatever else I feel like doing. For example, flyes on bench press days.

Arm Day:
Incline Hammer Curls
Incline Dumbbell Curls
EZ Bar Curls (pyramid up)
Concentration Curls
High Cable Curls
Overhead Tricep Extensions
Tricep Kickbacks with Twist
Tricep Press Downs

Cardio Options:
Tabata
Sprints
Hill Sprints
Walking
Running
Jump Rope
Stairs
