Eight highly effective testosterone boosting tips by Mike Mahler

Eight highly effective testosterone boosting tips

By Mike Mahler

#1: Increase healthy fat intake

Following a low-fat diet is a very effective method to destroy testosterone production. Healthy sources of dietary fat provide the building blocks to support optimal testosterone production. At least 30% of overall dietary intake should be derived from healthy fats such as: olive oil, coconut oil, coconut butter, nuts, seeds etc. Some do even better with higher intakes of fat such as myself so don’t buy into the long standing myth that intake of dietary fat is unhealthy.

One study actually showed how effective both olive oil and coconut oil are for converting cholesterol into testosterone. Some Doctor’s even theorize that high cholesterol levels are a desperate attempt for the body to produce more testosterone. Thus, perhaps if you take in more healthy fats, you will convert more cholesterol into testosterone and improve cholesterol levels as well.

#2: Get deep sleep every night

It is hardly a mystery that deep sleep every night is critical for optimal health so it should not be surprising that it is essential for adequate testosterone production as well. Yet, few value the importance of sleep and rather waste time watching four hours of TV every night. Even worse, many waste even more time on facebook, twitter, and message boards arguing with people that they will never meet in person.

Have you ever noticed how much different people are in real life than their online avatars? The internet is a breeding ground for estrogen dominant cowards that would never have the stones to say half the things they say online but I digress.

It is time to avail yourself of virtual living and allocate more time to deep sleep so you can improve real world living.

Try reading for an hour before bedtime to unwind and get into a relaxed state. Meditation is also invaluable for working out anxieties from the day to mitigate tossing and turning all night. Magnesium before bedtime is also a natural muscle relaxant that not only supports deep sleep, but increases testosterone levels as well. Try 200-300mg before bedtime or even better use magnesium oil for superior absorption. Check out Aggressive Strength Recovery Oil

#3: Make sure you have adequate intake of vitamins and minerals.

There are many vitamins and minerals that are important for optimal testosterone production. At the forefront are: vitamin A, vitamin D, B-vitamins, zinc, magnesium, and selenium. A good diet and multivitamin (Garden of life and Life extension make great ones) will cover many of the bases. However, you will likely need to add additional supplementation for Vitamin D, B vitamins, zinc, and magnesium.

Optimal intake:
Vitamin D3: 2500-5000iu
Vitamin A: 5000iu
Zinc: 30-50mg (zinc citrate, zinc aspartate)
B Vitamins 1-2 B-100 tabs
Magnesium 300-400mg (magnesium citrate, magnesium aspartate magnesium oil)
Selenium: 200mcg

#4 Avoid high sugar consumption

High sugar consumption is at the root cause of many ailments including low testosterone levels. When you over consume sugar which is very easy to do, you spike insulin levels which drives all the glucose out of your bloodstream. The extreme low blood sugar state will provoke you to eat even more sugar and the insidious cycle never ends.

The excess sugar intake will increased stored body fat faster than anything else. The more body fat you have, the higher the level of aromatase enzymes, and the greater the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.

High sugar intake also increases levels of stress hormones which further inhibit optimal testosterone production.

Make no mistake about it, sugar is highly addictive and is a very difficult habit to break. Nevertheless, it is worth the trouble as it is one on the most important things you can do for overall health and natural testosterone production.

My friend Dr. Peter Rouse has his clients take a tablespoon of coconut oil in between meals to reduce sugar cravings. Supplementation with 5 http can also be useful for mitigating sugar cravings at 100-200mg daily.

#5 Lift heavy weights with a focus on compound exercises

Engaging in a weight training program focused on compound exercises such as: deadlifts, squats, weighted dips, overhead presses, kettlebell swings, bent over rows, weighted pull-ups etc  will go a long way to increase both testosterone and growth hormone. The key is not too overdo it which will derail all of the benefits by increasing stress hormones and inflammation.

Don’t waste time on isolation exercises such as: curls, lateral raises, and leg extensions. Focus on compound exercises (especially squats and deadlifts) and get the workouts done in forty-five minutes and get on with your life. Check out: The Aggressive Strength Solution For Size And Strength!

#6 Stop being a chump!

Far too many men live life like total chumps instead of living life aggressively! (Check out Live Life Aggressively) Take charge of your life and stop being a pinball at the mercy of others and circumstances. If you have a job you hate, develop a plan to pursue a passion. If you’re in a draining relationship, then get the hell out of it! Life is too short to be miserable. Stop looking at obstacles as barriers and instead see them as opportunties to live life fully and reach a higher potential.
Why would you expect to have optimal testosterone production when you’re not remotely excited about your life? Take it from me, when you have great people in your life and love what you do for a living it goes a long way to improve testosterone levels.

Of course, it is hard to make all the required tough decisions and follow up with the intense action when you have the testosterone levels of a tadpole. Many will find that when you improve your fitness and health with training and nutrition the benefits will permeate into others of your life so start there.

#7 Avoid alcohol and especially beer

If you have low testosterone levels, you’re not doing yourself any favors by drinking too much alcohol. Alcohol increases the conversion of testosterone into estrogen and perhaps this is why many guys get overly emotional after several drinks. Even worse is beer which is loaded with hops which is highly estrogenic. Maybe this is why so many beer drinkers have bitch tits and look six months pregnant.

I wouldn’t worry about a few drinks per week, but if you’re having a few drinks per night, don’t be surprised that you have low testosterone levels and stubborn bodyfat.

#8 Take supplements to support testosterone production

Most supplements  touted as testosterone boosters are worthless such as tribulus and horny goat weed. Tribulus has never been shown in any study in men to increase testosterone. Yet a few studies show that it doesn’t increase testosterone at all.

Some supplements have been shown to be somewhat efficacious such as Tongkat Ali, Fenugreek, and D Aspartic Acid. However, none of these are my top pics.

The best supplements for increasing testosterone are: bulbine natalensis, mucuna pruriens, stinging nettle root, and scots pine pollen. Bulbine helps signal the testes to produce more testosterne and also converts cholesterol into testosterone. Mucuna supports levels of lutenizing hormone which is a signaling hormone that the brain uses to communicate with the testes to intiate more testosterone production. Mucuna also increases the neurotransmitter dopamine which in turn supports mood, energy, and growth hormone production. Stinging nettle root helps unbind testosterone from sex hormone binding globulin to make it more bioavailable. It also supports liver, prostate, and kidney health. Finally, scots pine pollen contains androgens to increase testosterone levels.

Many of these herbs are in my Aggressive Strength Testosterone Booster. Yes I have a vested interest in this recommendation and thus I am no doubt biased. However, that does not mean my testosterone booster is not effective. Obviously it is in my best interest to sell a supplement that actually works and Aggressive Strength definitely works for most users as I only have a 2% non responder rate. Just look at the endless testimonials for more support and decide for yourself. Check out Aggressive Strength Testosterone Booster Feedback

  • Supports overall metabolic health
  • Healthy blood circulation & cleansing
  • Recovery from muscle soreness
  • Joint and tendon health
  • Improved immune system health
  • Improved digestion
  • Improved gut health
  • Supports prostate health in men
  • Helps manage PCOS symptoms in women

Why Restorezyme?

Restorezyme is a potent mix of serrapeptase, proteases and ginger, Restorezyme enhances the body’s response to inflammation, metabolic activity, blood, joints and circulation. The ingredients in the Restorezyme formula have been used for more than a decade by thousands of people as a daily dietary supplement..

Elimination of potentially toxic substances from the body is an important part in the metabolic processes for optimal health. A variety of health issues can develop without a proper store of enzymes or if toxins within the body impede enzyme function or availability.

For example, the immune system can be overburdened with bacteria, fungi, toxins and even food particles that fail to get completely digested in the gastro-intestinal tract. In many instances, proteins the body detects as foreign initiate an immune response. Recognized as antigens, the immune system produces antibodies to start the process of their degradation and removal. After coupling with one another, these antigens and antibodies form circulating immune complexes (CICs), which induce attack and destruction by the immune system’s macrophages (cells specifically designed to destroy CICs). In cases where inflammation is prolonged or when CICs are predominant within the body’s tissues and organs, the body may not have enough enzyme potential to begin the next process of renewal and recovery. Moreover, research has demonstrated that a lack of proteolytic enzymes may not adequately address a large accumulation of CIC’s in the body.

To address this problem, Restorezyme has been formulated with an ample supply of various proteases to facilitate the body’s immune defenses and breakdown free-roaming CICs which can keep the body in a constant state of inflammation. Restorezyme also contains papain and bromelain, enzymes known for their potent systemic properties. Enteric-coated serrapeptase highlights this powerful mix of proteolytic enzymes with its scientifically proven fibrinolytic power.

In addition to these systemic and digestive proteases, lipase and amylase also offer their own enzyme activity to bolster the body with extra catalytic energy, especially for the complete digestion of fats, sugar and protein complexes. And for extra synergy, Restorezyme is rounded with anti-oxidant support in the form of rutin and amla, herbs well known for their unique bioflavanoid content, especially useful for tissue rejuvenation and recovery.

Systemic Enzyme Therapy for Men and Women

For nearly 40 years, serrapeptase has been at the heart of systemic enzyme therapy. Systemic enzymes such as serrapeptase have been used for optimal cell, tissue, organ and metabolic function.
The reality is that inflammation affects everyone, men and women alike. However, along with nearly all other tissue and organs, inflammation can affect reproductive tissue and organs particularly. For instance, many women experience painful swelling of the breast as well as uterine fibroids. In men, prostate health is a major concern. Although inflammation in each case may manifest differently in both men and women, inflammation has one thing in common: fibrin.

Fibrin is an essential protein that is produced during inflammation. As a blood clotting protein, the body utilizes fibrin to contain blood loss and keep infection at bay after injury. It is the initial first step in the body’s attempts at recovery. Nevertheless, when inflammation has gone on for too long, fibrin along with other proteins such as collagen can begin to transform original tissue into a tough fibrous matrix. Differentiated and sometimes sequestered apart from healthy tissue, this fibrous matrix still has the biological markers of inflammation. Nutrients and other building blocks are still needed for healthy and normal tissue.

Systemic and proteolytic enzyme research over the years suggests that fibroids in women and swollen prostrate glands in men are indications that the body has not been able to get past inflammation. The resulting fibrous tissue usually accumulates toxins that have not been adequately removed by the body.

Enzymes are energetic catalysts that push essential chemical reactions in the body in the right direction. In its quest for internal balance, the body always turns to enzymes for help. In this way, Restorezyme helps get inflamed tissue over the hump.

Restorezyme's superior proteolytic action assists the body in removing those larger protein molecules from damaged cells and tissues as well as the inflammatory response itself. In helping breakdown these compounds, the impediments for sustaining healthy cell and tissue growth are removed and the processes for rejuvenation and recovery can move forward.

These facets of Restorezyme make it ideal for maintaining healthy tissue repair following strenuous physical training and activity.
Sport- and exercise-related muscle pain and inflammation brought on by strong physical tension, excessive training, and heavy competition are decreased with “excellent results” due to the specific activity of systemic enzymes on exercise-induced inflammation.4 Taking systemic enzymes prior activity can also provide protective benefits to athletes who are at risk of injury, resulting in significantly reduced duration of injury symptoms and related absences from training and work. Systemic enzyme support also improves recovery from sprains, as well as shortens recovery from sport injuries severe enough to require surgery.5,6

Frequently Asked Questions

What is systemic enzyme therapy?
Systemic enzyme therapy refers to the therapeutic use of natural enzymes to produce desired healing effects. Systemic enzymes are absorbed from the small intestine where they enter the bloodstream and execute their effects on the entire body as a system. Their crucial role in normal inflammatory response assists and supports the body in accelerating healing.

What is a systemic proteolytic enzyme?
Proteolytic enzymes break down proteins into their building-blocks, which are called amino acids. Systemic proteolytic enzymes are responsible for breaking down accumulated protein and waste substances found in the circulatory system and connective tissue. Waste materials produced from inflammation and other biochemical processes can build up, contributing to excessive scarring and perpetuated immune responses. Excessive scarring, particularly of the organs, can exacerbate symptoms of the associated disease. The waste product of specific concern is known as fibrin. Regular systemic proteolytic enzyme use can improve circulation and aid in flushing out these waste products.

What is fibrin?
Fibrin is a protein-based substance that is needed to help clot one’s blood, playing a substantial role in immune response and healing. When the body responds to injury or chronic inflammation, fibrin is recruited to the damaged area to form scar tissue. Although the body is equipped with plasmin, a naturally occurring enzyme responsible for breaking down excess fibrin, some people are at a disadvantage – as aging occurs, plasmin levels progressively decrease. This actually increases the risk for excessive, undesirable scar tissue formation in the body.

Are systemic enzymes anti-inflammatory drugs?
Although systemic enzymes produce anti-inflammatory effects, they are not considered a drug. Since enzymes are naturally occurring within the body, systemic enzyme therapy is considered supplementation. One difference between systemic enzymes and NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) involves the duration of action. While NSAIDs produce short-term pain relief, systemic enzymes can produce long-term alleviation with appropriate use.
The largest difference between NSAIDS and systemic enzymes is the mechanism of action and possible side effects. NSAIDs block the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation and swelling. However, prostaglandins protect the lining of the stomach, and prolonged use of NSAIDs can reduce this protection and increase the risk of developing ulcers. Conversely, regular use of systemic enzymes has no negative side effects and can actually provide protective effects against excess inflammation.

Why is it important to take Restorezyme on an empty stomach?
Since most absorption occurs in the small intestine, the systemic enzymes must bypass the stomach to gain access there. If the enzymes are taken with food, they will likely begin working to break down your food within the stomach, rather than passing through to the small intestine. Taking systemic enzymes like Restorezyme with food will compromise their absorption, as well as their effectiveness. Also according to my friend and enzyme expert Dr. William Wong, it is also important to take enzymes with at least 8oz of water to help activate the enzymes to maximum potential.

Does Restorezyme have an enteric coating?
Yes, the serrapeptase in Restorezyme is enterically coated. While similar systemic enzymes may have the same active ingredients, most do not utilize enteric coating. The purpose of enteric coating is to protect the enzyme from the acidic environment of the stomach. High activity level is preserved until the enzymes reach the small intestine, where absorption into the bloodstream takes place. While the enteric coating can withstand the acidic environment of the stomach, the alkaline environment of the small intestine will disintegrate the enteric coating, allowing the enzyme to be active within the bloodstream.

Do you use phthalates in your enteric coating?
No, our enteric coating does not use or contain phthalates. At AST Enzymes, we use Methacrylic Acid Copolymer (MAAC) for our enteric coating. Compared to other commonly used enteric coating agents such as Cellulose Acetate Phthalate (CAP) and Hydroxypropyl Methycellulose Phthalate (HPMCP), MAAC is the most gastro-resistant and does not carry the same risks. Additionally, MAAC is considered GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the FDA and is approved for use by the European Food Safety Authority. To learn more about enteric coating used in AST Enzymes products, please click the 'Compare" tab.

How long should I take Restorezyme before feeling results?
Since people experience varying ailments and severity of disease, the length of time to include systemic enzymes in your regimen may vary as well. As an overall guideline, it is typically recommended that new systemic enzyme users start off slow. A starter dose is generally one capsule, three times daily. After three to four days of proven tolerance, the dose can be increased to a therapeutic dose of 3 capsules, 3 times per day. At this point, results may be monitored, and dosage should be adjusted accordingly. Some consumers find their therapeutic dose between 9-15 capsules per day, while others only need 3-6. There are several factors that may affect results and required dosage, including:
· Height
· Weight
· Age
· Severity of symptoms
· Tolerance
· Time of administration (Better absorbed on an empty stomach)
· Adherence to regimen
· Nutritional state

What if I miss a dose?
Regular, consistent use of systemic enzymes will provide the best results, however missed doses of systemic enzymes do not have serious repercussions. Although symptoms alleviated by systemic enzyme therapy may resurface, getting back on track by remembering to take your next dose will suffice. There is also the option of incorporating another dose during the day. There is no need to “double up,” on one dose - and remember, systemic enzymes are best absorbed on an empty stomach.

Are there any side effects involved with Restorezyme?
The use of Restorezyme has not been shown to exhibit detrimental effects, neither long term nor short term. Just as dosage requirements vary, side effects may vary as well. Although gastrointestinal disturbances have been reported by a small percentage of new users, tolerance is maintained once the dosage is adjusted. Minor allergic reactions, like reddening of the skin, are also rare occurrences, and can be seen with extremely high doses. There are no known interactions with prescription or over the counter drugs while using systemic enzyme therapy. However, it is recommended that you consult with your physician about starting systemic enzymes, especially if you are currently on blood-thinning medications or if you are pregnant or nursing.

Can I take Restorezyme with digestive enzymes?
Although digestive and systemic enzymes are not contraindicated in terms of ingredients, they cannot be taken at the same time. The purpose of digestive enzymes is to aid in digestion of specific foods, so taking them with food is an obvious recommendation. Because systemic enzymes require an empty stomach for maximum absorption, they must be taken separately from digestive enzymes. There are no adverse interactions between systemic and digestive enzymes, but they serve different purposes and thus should be taken as directed for best results.

Here is what people are saying about Restorezyme

Mike I want to thank you making such an excellent supplement in Restorezyme. At 44 years of age with many years of heavy lifting, coupled with more recently long-drive golfing left & right handed and heavy double kettlebell work... the consistent knee, back and elbow pain was something I was prepared to deal with for the long haul. After taking your product my joints and residual soreness have gone away. The inflammation I was dealing with previously was awful and has now disappeared! I'm able to once again pursue all my athletic endeavors at full speed. Thanks again for making such an incredible product.

--James Frank

Hey Mike.....Just wanted to give you an update on your product called Restorezyme. I have Bursitis in my right shoulder. I was a baseball picture for 10 years and now that I am 54 years old doing crossfit. It has rear its ugly head. I had a steroid shot that lasted about two months but came back. I was living on advil, alieve and I even got a perscription of Celebryx. I started taking your product Sunday 10/19/13. 3 3x a day. I noticed the edge was off. The REAL TEST... 75 LBS 10 SNATCHES - 10 PUSH PRESS - REST 30 SEC. 20 SNATHCES 20 PUSH PRESS REST 30 SEC. 30 SNATCHES 30 PUSH PRESS REST 30 SEC. 40 SNATCHED 40 PUSH PRESS. Before I did this in the morning, I took 4 and then 4 in the afternoon and 4 after I did another cross fit WOD. I gotta tell ya AMAZING PRODUCT. I still ice it just for precaution but your product is doing wonders for my shoulder. I am referring this product to my crossfit friends. I have a lady already interested in it.
--Carl Mathias

I am a former college/ short time pro athlete who enjoys mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, golf. I had aching knees and stiffness after strenuous workouts or even 18 holes of golf. The Restorezyme has completely eliminated the pain. Restorezyme and the Recovery spray are the only supplements that I take.

I believe in the product so much that I have my Dad on it (knee replacement), my Mom (recovering from radiation) both with great results. I even put my 12 year old mutt Holly on Restorezyme with fantastic results. She is running around with my two younger dogs and these fat bumps she had on her body have completely disappeared in a couple of weeks. I have put my two younger dogs on it as well.

I tried it with my parents and dogs after talking to Mike, He has great information, stands behind his product and even gave me suggestions of supplements he does not personally sell. Support like that is unheard of in the supplement industry.
Mike, you have a customer for life and a very appreciative son and dog owner. Thank you for your support and fantastic products. I plan to try the Testosterone Booster next!

--Ed Booth

Restorezyme - The Best - body inflammation is way down compared to how I use to feel, I wake up feeling reasonably fresh, aside from a bit of muscle tightness. I have had an extensive shoulder reconstruction & put up with chronic inflammation. This has been the only product/food, other than eliminating gluten foods etc, that has dropped the pain and inflammation right down. Will continue to use for sure - hence my year supply I ordered a couple of weeks ago.
--Dave Forster

Mike, you're definitely on to something with your supplements. I have to say that the restorezyme is a must have for any individual that is involved in any physical activity. I deal with inflammation from service related injuries to just wear and tear at the gym. I'm the poster boy for it. I would hate to be so quick with a review/testimonial but here's an example. I work at a lumber yard so it's very labor intensive. I cut, pull and haul lumber all day as well as being on my feet. I've had a nagging pain around the flexor muscle on top of my right hand the last week. Immediately after receiving the restorezyme I took 3 caps on an empty stomach. I gave it some time to see it the pain would diminish which was slightly noticeable. I followed 3 more caps before bed as well as 3 more caps in the morning the next day on an empty stomach and the pain is gone! I sh!@ you not!
One more thing, after I got off work to go the gym I decided to do box squats, I was pain free and I added 2 more reps @ 225 and said what the hell and did 3 for 275...not bad for someone with a metal rod in his leg....for the first time in awhile I feel I can really push myself physically without the fear of injuries or stiff joints. Thank you brother!
-- Ryan Parsons

I just wanted to say so far I've been noticing a big difference from the Restorzyme (3caps 3x a day) that has massively lessened (not completely gone) tendonitis pain that I've had for a year from RSI with my guitar work ... pleased with this as it means I'm currently able to avoid cortisone/surgery options and still carry on with my career!
--Dan Baker

Aggressive Strength Natural Testosterone Booster Information By Mike Mahler

How ProLensis™Bulbine Natalensis works

ProLensis™ is a multi-faceted compound in all of the ways it exerts its positive effects on the hormonal balance of the body.

In regards to testosterone, ProLensis™ increases GnRH-LH signalling, and also increases cholesterol in the testes. These distinct processes are important for testosterone synthesis. GnRH, or Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone, is released from the hypothalamus in the brain. In turn, this stimulates the release of LH, or Luteinizing Hormone, from the pituitary. LH is the hormone that directly stimulates cells (called Leydig Cells) in the testes to release testosterone. Evidence shows that ProLensis™ can stimulate LH 169% compared to study controls.

By enhancing GnRH-LH signalling, ProLensis™ amplifies the process by which testosterone is stimulated, akin to turning up the volume on a stereo.

In cooperation with this, ProLensis™ also elevates levels of testicular cholesterol. Cholesterol is the equivalent of raw material in the testes job of creating testosterone. The cholesterol is taken up into the mitochondria of the testes where it is processed into pregnenolone. From this stage it is converted into sex steroids and glucocorticoids. Due to cholesterol’s status as a raw material, it’s uptake into the testes is the rate-limiting step in sex steroid synthesis. This manifests into a marked increase in testosterone of 347%, as shown in research.

In other words, testosterone creation can only be enhanced if testicular cholesterol levels are elevated. In doing this, ProLensis™ increases testosterone output.

ProLensis™ has also been shown to act as an aphrodisiac. Studies involving mammals given ProLensis™ show a significant increase in frequencies of mount, intromission, ejaculation and ejaculatory latency. This effect is believed to be due to the increase in acid phosphatase (ACPT) in the testes. ACPT is widely distributed in the testes and plays an important role in the physiology of sperm. Increased levels of this enzyme are associated with higher testes output. Researchers believe this effect suggests an enhanced mobilization of carbohydrate and lipid metabolites which are used by the accessory sex structure and/or spermatozoa in the seminal fluid.

ProLensis™ contains phytochemicals that drive the machinery involved in sperm production and sex drive.

In addition to the effects on blood flow to sexual organs that the alkaloid phytochemicals exert, researchers have hypothesized that other constituents of ProLensis™ may act directly on the central nervous system, modulating the action of neurotransmitters. Unbeknown to some, neurotransmitters such as serotonin play a very large role in the complicated science of sex drive.

By influencing neurotransmitters, the bioactive agents present in ProLensis™ further augment the aphrodisiac effect of the extract.

Investigation into ProLensis™ has also demonstrated a marked decrease in estrogen levels in mammalian research models. This decrease is as much as 35% in comparison to study controls. While the researchers do not speculate why this may be the case, they do speculate that this reduction in estrogen may be partly responsible for the increased testosterone.

In summary, ProLensis™ exerts several favorable effects on the hormonal milieu, documented in the table below.

Hormones% Change
Testosterone (serum)↑ 347%
Luteinizing Hormone (serum)↑ 169%
Estrogen↓ 35%
Prolactin (serum)↔ No change
