Nutrient Partitioning with Indigo-3G® Cyanidin 3-glucoside (C3G)

Product description from the manufacturer.

·         Controls carbs to build muscle.
·         Maximizes nutrient uptake in muscle.
·         Releases and burns body fat.
·         Prevents the storage of fat.

Scientists have discovered a naturally occurring compound — called cyanidin 3-glucoside (C3G) — that has the ability to precisely control carbohydrates so that what you eat literally turns to muscle instead of fat.

This might seem hard to believe, but research has proven C3G's effects on insulin signaling, selective insulin sensitivity, glucose and nutrient management, as well as its direct effect on fat and muscle cells, is extremely elaborate and precise.
C3G literally makes your body function perfectly for building muscle mass without the fear of gaining fat, even while on a bulking diet, making the body-building process a whole new ballgame. No more depriving yourself of the optimal nutrition for building muscle because "your body can't handle the carbs" — because now it can.

USPLabs AP (Anabolic Pump) | Genetic Equalizer

http://www.tigerfitness.com/USPLabs-Anabolic-Pump-p/4240003.htm&Click=61298

An Effective Anabolic For Increasing Muscle Mass And Fat Loss!

Voted #1 Nutrient Partitioning Agent!*"
WHY DO GENETIC FREAKS GAIN MUSCLE & GET SHREDDED SO EASILY?

It's very simple... their bodies are predisposed to process nutrients more efficiently, and this assists to shuttle nutrients to their muscle cells & away from their fat cells... so they are always jacked and ripped, no matter what they eat or do. They have almost perfect insulin sensitivity, nutrient partitioning ability and high rate of protein synthesis...

Basically, the bodies of genetic freaks tend-to promote a muscle-building, fat-burning anabolic state... While the rest of us spend our days in a muscle-wasting, fat-storing catabolic state, even if you eat protein every few hours and do everything right... It sucks, but it's the truth...

Not to worry, not all hope is lost...

There's a protein-transporter hormone called GLUT4 that lays dormant in the middle of every muscle and fat cell in your body. It just sits there minding its own business until it's activated by weight training, or dietary intake...

When GLUT4 is activated, it comes to the surface of the muscle cell and begins to suck in mass-building glucose like an industrial-sized vacuum!

This is better known as the "Post Workout Window Of Opportunity" - where all of the magic happens - as your body is in a super-anabolic state, absorbing nutrients, building muscle and burning fat. This is the only "window" the natural guy has. Mess this up and you don't have a prayer.

Unfortunately, even if you take a post-workout shake, GLUT4 only comes to the surface of the cell & remains active for a short period, and then it goes back into hibernation...

What if you could increase GLUT4 activation outside of the pathetically-short post-workout period?

THERE MAY BE HOPE FOR HARDGAINERS...

As a Hardgainer, one reason it's difficult to put on muscle mass is because nutrients have a hard time being delivered to your muscle cells. It's that simple. The reality is your muscle cells may only be getting a few measly grams of protein, even when you take in large amounts. The majority of that protein (and other nutrients) never reach your muscle tissue.

THAT'S why gaining muscle mass is nearly impossible for you!

You see, hardgainers can get very little GLUT4 activation, so you almost never have a window to gain muscle, even post-workout! No wonder those pre, intra & post workout shakes aren't doing jack for you!

Put On Bodyfat Easily? WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO GET RIPPED - WHILE STAYING BIG & STRONG!

Unlike the genetic freaks who get all of their nutrients delivered to their muscle cells - OR the hardgainers who have difficulty getting nutrients delivered - most of the nutrients you consume, especially carbs, get stored right into your fat cells...

While, at least you can get bigger & stronger... you don't have as much head-turning muscle definition as you'd like... Listen, I'm not trying to come down on you, just giving you the absolute truth so you can do something about it!

So, wouldn't it be great if nutrients could be shuttled into muscle cells and away from fat cells... [4]

THAT my friend, is the power of GLUT4 activation...

And, we believe, based upon studies in animal models and animal cells/tissue [4] that there’s a compound that has demonstrated the ability to do that …

A constituent of a key ingredient in Anabolic-Pump has been shown in vitro (utilizing animal skeletal muscle) to increase GLUT4 up to threefold or more!

We believe, based upon studies in animal models and animal cells/tissue, this key constituent may activate GLUT4 in muscle cells—allowing carbohydrates to be delivered to muscle cells . [1-5 ]

Give yourself a shot. After all you spend so much time training, eating right, educating yourself…Why wouldn't you stack the cards in your favor? Honestly, there's no good reason not to…

Fact is, the longer period of time GLUT4 is activated, the better chance you have at developing the physique you want. This is your only shot at being on the same playing field as the freaks...

You owe it to yourself to give something with such great potential a shot. After all you spend so much time training, eating right, educating yourself...Why wouldn't you want to stack the cards in your favor? Honestly, there's no good reason not to...

Best,

Ipriflavone: The anabolic isoflavone that you probably haven't heard of.

Used by Hungarians and brought to the U.S. by Patrick Arnold, Ipriflavone has gained significant attention in the strength training community.

Ipriflavone is thought to increase protein synthesis for building muscle mass. For that reason alone this could be a valuable supplement for the hardgainer. In addition, it supports bone formation,  healthy cholesterol levels and nitrogen retention.

Look to dose at 500 - 1,200 mg per day with meals. Ipriflavone cannot be used by the body on an empty stomach. 8 weeks on. 8 weeks off.

Excerpt from Animal Natural Anabolics

Due to its anabolic properties, ipriflavone can selectively increase fat-free lean mass. Like its cousin methoxyisoflavone, ipriflavone can do so via anabolism: increasing nitrogen retention, sparking protein synthesis, reducing protein breakdown (via cortisol inhibition), and by promoting nutrition-partitioning actions. With respect to nutrition-partitioning, studies have recorded up to 20% gains in weight from ipriflavone use, even with the same caloric intakes. According to pharmocokinetic studies, oral administration of ipriflavone is quickly absorbed and metabolized in the liver.

List of Glucose Disposal Agents - Move more glucose into muscle

Glucose disposal agents mean more nutrients to muscle and less to fat. Here's a list of some of the most widely used.

Berberine
Human and animal research demonstrates that 1500mg of berberine, taken in three doses of 500mg each, is equally effective as taking 1500mg of metformin or 4mg glibenclamide, two pharmaceuticals for treating type II diabetes.

Gymnema Sylvestre
Gymnema Sylvestre found in India, Africa, and Australia. It contains 12 saponins forming the active chemical is gymnemic acid which has a potent effect on insulin sensitivity and glucose disposal. Gymnema also is suspected to  also regenerate damaged pancreatic beta cells. These cells are the only site of insulin production in the body.

Alpha Lipoic acid
ALA is the universal antioxidant naturally found in minute amounts in meats, heart, kidney, liver, and some fruits in vegetables. It's antioxidant capabilities can neutralize hydroxyl radicals and singlet oxygen, two of the most destructive free radicals. ALA can also help to regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E.

Vanadyl Sulfate
This “Insulin mimetic” can activate glucose uptake without insulin. It also up regulates glycogen synthesis pumping up your muscles.

Cinnamon Extract
Cinnamon both supports insulin and also has insulin mimetic properties. It supports the uptake of glucose and can increase GLUT4 levels.  GLUT4 is the insulin-regulated glucose transporter found in adipose (fat) tissues and muscle.

Chromium Picolinate
Chromium is an essential trace nutrient needed for carbohydrate metabolism. Chromium is another agent that can directly affect insulin sensitivity by activating GLUT4.

Biotin
This water-soluble B vitamin is important for carbohydrate metabolism. Biotin was included in The Ultimate GDA as more of an insurance plan, based on some research that suggests that ALA may actually compete with biotin for absorption, possibly causing a biotin deficiency. There is also evidence that biotin may work synergistically with chromium to improve glucose metabolism (37).

Bitter Melon
Bitter Melon contains compounds that activate a protein called AMPK that regulates fuel metabolism and enabling glucose uptake. These are processes which are impaired in diabetics.

Phellodendron amurense
"Amur Cork Tree" contains berberine which has been shown to have anti-diabetic activity.  While early indications are outstanding more research needs to be done. Berberine is also found in Oregon Grape, Barberry and Goldenseal.

Vanadyl Sulfate
Vanadyl sulfate is thought to help muscle cells uptake glucose. Food sources tend to be best but supplements are also an option. Food sources rich in vanadium include pepper, dill, radishes, eggs, vegetable oils, buckwheat and oats. Vanadyl supplemental use should be approached with caution.
BMOV (Bis-Malto-Oxovanadium)  is an organic form of the mineral vanadium.

Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has long been valued for its nutritive properties as a folk remedy and it's affects on blood glucose levels has been clinically researched to be positive.

Fenugreek
Fenugreek appears to be able to slow down the rate at which sugars are absorbed into the body. This is greatly beneficial in regulating blood sugar levels. Additionally, studies indicate that 4-hydroxyisoleucine (an amino acid) found in fenugreek may induce or promote the production of insulin when blood sugar levels are elevated.

Cissus quadrangularis
Has lots of anecdotal information about it's ability to cause significant reductions in weight and blood glucose levels. More research needs to be done to verify these claims. If you want more information read Timothy Ferriss' Four Hour Body.

Magnolia officinalis
Magnolia bark is not a glucose disposal agent but a supporting agent in the "battle of the bulge". It is used as a general anti-stress and anti-anxiety agent to help control cortisol levels.

Banaba
A tree native to Southeast Asia has been used in traditional medicine in the Phillipines as a treatment for diabetes. The leaves are high in corosolic acid, which has been shown to improve glucose control in human and animal studies. It appears to do this by stimulating glucose uptake in muscle cells.

More Muscle - Nutrient Partioning with Berberine - It has been compared to Metformin

Amazing Nutrition Berberine Plus 500 mg 120 Capsules - Supports immune system - Supports glucose metabolism - Aid in healthy weight management

Berberine is a chemical found in several plants including European barberry, goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape, phellodendron, and tree tumeric.

Berberine sends more nutrients to muscle and less to fat storage. This not only would be beneficial to bodybuilding but to anyone looking to store less fat, lose weight or control blood sugar.

Bodybuilders have traditionally handled this by staying low and slow carbohydrate the majority of the day with the exception of post workout. Fast or high glycemic carbs are only allowed post workout.

Banaba Leaf Extract: An insulin mimicker.

Used in the Philippines as traditional medicine to treat diabetes and kidney diseases, the leaves appear to act in a similar manner to insulin by activating insulin receptors. One of the main ingredients responsible for this action is corosolic acid.
Try 30-50mg banaba leaf extract standardized for corosolic acid with your post-workout shake or with you biggest carbohydrate containing meal.

Or anytime with carbs and creatine. Banaba and other insulin-boosting supplements like gymnema and alpha lipoic acid work by either increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas or enhancing its effects at the muscle. Taking any of these post-workouts boosts insulin's action at the muscles without promoting insulin's action on fat storage.

ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID (ALA): The Universal Antioxidant

Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a powerful antioxidant. It's called the universal antioxidant because seems to help prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C.

Bodybuilders love it because it improves muscle glucose and creatine uptake when consumed with simple carbs like dextrose.

In addition, ALA is used in some fat-loss products because it reduces the amount of insulin released when carbs are eaten. This increases fat burning and reduces hunger.

The Flex magazine recommended dosage is as follows:
  • For increased creatine uptake; 500-600mg with 2-5g of creatine.
  • For fat loss and antioxidant protection: 100-300mg two to three times per day

R-Lipoic Acid the better form?
Lipoic acid helps protect against oxidative stress generated by high glucose levels. Alpha-lipoic acid consists of two different forms (isomers) that have vastly different properties. The “R” form is the biologically active component (native to the body) that is responsible for lipoic acid’s phenomenal antioxidant effect.

Vaporize Your Fat Stores with MAN Vaporize. Non-stimulant Fat Burner.

The cool thing about non-stimulant fat burners is that you can add them to your current stack to enhance the cutting process.

MAN Vaporize is one such product. Vaporize combines sesamin with fish oil to help you meet your lean goal.

The below is from Muscle and Fitness:

SESAMIN IS A LIGNAN found in sesame oil that can offer potent antioxidant activity and aid fat loss. Sesamin itself has no antioxidant activity; however, in the liver it gets converted to an active form that acts like a powerful antioxidant. In fact, one study showed that males who took sesamin before exercise had considerably less oxidative damage after exercise as compared to controls and subjects who took Vitamin E before exercise. Not only does the active form scavenge damaging free radicals, but it also decreases fatty acid production and increases fat breakdown. That adds up to greater fat loss when sesamin is taken regularly.

One of the mechanisms by which scientists believe sesamin works is by altering genes that increase the production of metabolic enzymes and other important proteins involved in producing body fat and burning fat for energy in the body. An effective dose of sesamin appears to be 500-1,000 mg taken 2-3 times a day with food. You can find a potent form of sesamin in Sesamin by Scivation (scivation.com).

Recognized as a lignan, sesamin found in VAPORIZE™ from MAN Sports, also supports liver and kidney health, supports healthy cholesterol levelsalready within the normal range and posses potent Antioxidant activity by increasing the absorption, use and recycling of Vitamin E.* Its tremendous fat oxidizing phenomenon is believed to be attributed to augmenting the release of potent thermogenic enzymes through optimized liver function.* Fascinatingly more, sesamin's potent fat and health promoting effects are further amplified when used in conjunction with essential fatty acids.* And that is why VAPORIZE™ also integrates BIG-FISH™, a potent 50% EPA/DHA fish oil matrix. As a premium source of EFA's, BIG-FISH™, works in tandem with sesamin in VAPORIZE™ to initiate a fat incinerating and health promoting supplement!*

The Highlights

  • Radically reduces body fat through a process called fat oxidation*
  • Inhibits lipogenic (fat storing) gene expression of several different fat storing enzymes*
  • Provides powerful anti-oxidant properties*
  • Supports healthy cholesterol levels already within the normal range*
  • Supports healthy liver and kidney function*
  • Increases insulin sensitivity and acts as a nutrient partitioner*
  • Stacks well with Scorch, PUFA's, Flax lignans, and bioisomer-specific CLA for more dramatic and effective bodyfat reducing and health promoting properties.*

Sesamin

Sesamin is a lignan (a lignan is a chemical compound known as a phytoestrogen) and activates the Peroxisome Proliferator-Activator Receptor Alpha (PPAR alpha).* There are 3 different classes of PPAR's:

  1. Alpha - expressed in kidney, heart, muscle, adipose tissue, and others.
  2. Gamma - though transcribed by the same gene, this PPAR exists in three forms (y-1 (expressed in virtually all tissues), y-2 (expressed primarily in fat tissue), y-3 (expressed in macrophages, intestines and white adipose tissue).
  3. Delta - expressed in many tissues but markedly in brain, adipose tissue and skin.

PPAR's are nuclear receptors that play major roles in fat metabolism, cellular energy balance and insulin sensitivity. Basically they are small complexes that have major impact on many systems in our body and many systems that contribute to fat loss and nutrient usage/expenditure/storage. The PPAR alpha receptors can be found expressed in the muscle, liver, and kidneys, and is specifically involved in the transcription of the genes involved in the beta-oxidation (burning) of fatty acids and lipogenesis (the storing of fat). As such, sesamin does two significant things in regards to weight control/fat loss.

It produces the phenomenon known as fat oxidation by augmenting the release of potent thermogenic enzymes through optimized liver function.* Meaning it helps increase the rate at which fat gets converted to energy.* It inhibits the function of fat storing enzymes.* Sesamin can alter metabolism to be one that preferentially utilizes fat as an energy source as well as foil its storage.*

Another thing of importance to the war on weight loss is that PPAR alpha activation (of which sesamin is extremely potent) also increases uncoupling-proteins (UCPs).* What this means is that an increase in UCPs would increase the calories needed to produce the same amount of energy. In other words sesamin increases the rate and capacity at which cells can vaporize fat.*

BIG-FISH™

BIG-FISH™ is a 50% EPA/DHA essential fatty acids blend which are known to have numerous health benefits. Among the proven health promoting properties of EPA and DHA are cardiovascular health, healthy blood cholesterollevels that are already within the normal range, support healthy joints and bodyfat reduction.* EPA and DHA also work in tandem with sesamin in activation of PPAR alpha and as such amplify the fat burning and health promoting properties of sesamin.*

USPLabs AP - Nutrient Partitioning - Send More Nutrients to Muscle and Less to Fat.

Simply put the goal of nutrient partitioning supplements is to send more nutrients to muscle and less to fat storage. This not only would be beneficial to bodybuilding but to anyone looking to store less fat.

Bodybuilders have traditionally handled this by staying low and slow carbohydrate the majority of the day with the exception of post workout. Fast or high glycemic carbs are only allowed post workout.

This is done since the fast carbohydrates fill the blood stream quickly with sugar. The body needs to rid the blood of the sugar so insulin is secreted to shuttle the sugars and other nutrients present in the blood into both fat and muscle storage. Working out depletes muscle of its own sugar stores, glycogen, which gives muscle preferential treatment to get those sugars replaced.

This is why the 30 - 45 minutes post-workout is called "anabolic window". The creatine and protein are shuttled into muscle with the help of fast carbs and insulin.

Nutrient partitioning agents are supportive of the whole process. It has been suggested that hardgainers can really benefit from these supplements.

Here are some products you can try to elevate your muscle gains.
