Lou Shuler says that you need to "do more" to reprogram your metabolism

"Do more" can mean any of the following:

Higher volume--more sets, reps, or miles.

Higher intensity--heavier weights, faster rides or runs.

Higher frequency--the same thing more often.

Higher difficulty--more challenging lifts, incorporating hills into cardio training.
